Acceptable File Types

In order for Heritage Printing and Quick Copy to turn your artwork into a stunning printed masterpiece we request that you prepare your documents, graphics and artwork in a format and file type that is optimized for the best printing results.

Please read the details below closely to make sure that your files meet these guidelines before sending them to us.  Having your files prepared properly will save you time and money.  If you have any questions about our file requirements you may call us at 770-932-3800 or send an email to graphics@heritageprintinginc.com

For the best print quality, we prefer
:

  • Hi-Resolution, print-ready PDF files.
  • All images must be embedded and all fonts outlined (or converted to curves).
  • For full color printing: All files must be prepared as CMYK.
  • For Offset Printing: All files must be prepared as CMYK, using the preferred PMS/spot colors.
  • All files must be prepared to the final trim size. (Ex: Business cards are 3.5″ x 2″, set up your file to that size, not 8.5×11 with a card in the middle)
  • If your job requires bleeds (art or color that extends beyond the trim area), your PDF must include a minimum of .125″ bleed on EACH side that bleeds. Please make sure you have proper bleed and trim marks.

You can deliver your files to us in a variety of ways:
